Our Mission

Big government is not simply the size of the budget, or the number of federal programs; it is the role the federal government plays in our daily lives.

We at the Lincoln Heritage Institute will not sit idly by and allow bloated bureaucracies, budensome tax policies, a failing public education system, and out of control regulatory system, and a growing disregard for the rule of law to become an accepted way of life

We have as our purpose, through public education, the revitalization and preservation of our traditional political, social, commercial, and legal environment in which the only limits to achievement are individual ability and effort.

The Mullahs And Their Nukes

Neal Boortz, Nealz Nuze
          April 13, 2005

On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon visited President Bush at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.  Judging by their remarks at a joint press conference afterward, the two had quite the time...with Bush driving Sharon around in his pick-em-up truck.  They also had talks about a number of issues, most of which the two countries are in agreement.

However, while Sharon was down in Crawford, it has been reported that one of his generals was along for the ride.  While he was there, he showed Bush aerial photographs of Iranian nuclear installations.  These photographs reportedly show their weapons program at an advanced stage.  In other words, it looks like it won't be long before the Islamic terror state of Iran has nuclear weapons.

Think about that for a minute.  We invaded Iraq and overthrew Saddam Hussein because he had the capability to produce nuclear weapons.  These Muslim psychos in Tehran make Saddam Hussein look like an amateur.  So what would Iran do with a nuclear weapon?  Well, let's look at their statements about the United States and Israel.

They have called for the destruction of the Israel, and have repeatedly called the United States "The Great Satan."  So since these Islamic terrorists seem to like us so much, I'm sure they'll have no problem selling their nukes to the highest bidder.  Nuclear Al-Qaeda, anyone?

Israel has said they won't allow Iran to have a nuclear warhead, and have made rumblings that they'll bomb the reactors, just like they did to Iraq some 20 years ago.  Perhaps we should just take care of it now, before it's too late.

Some people seem to have a difficult time grasping this concept ... especially the anti-war "activist" peace-at-any-price crowd.  Sometimes you have to make a decision to act based on the possible consequences of a failure to act.  That's the way it was in Iraq.  Your leftist Mynah Birds will sit on their perches and squawk "no weapons of mass destruction, no weapons of mass destruction" for hours on end.  They think this passes as deep social commentary.  The fact is we know for a drop-dead certain fact that Saddam did have WMDs, and the best intelligence we were able to generate said that Saddam had all of the supplies and materials on hand to make some more, and to make them quickly once the threat of an American invasion was past.  Only in the mind of an American liberal would this threat seem insignificant.  We acted in Iraq because of the possible negative consequences of a failure to act.  It was the only responsible course of action.  You don't pay big bucks for home insurance because you expect your house to burn down.  You buy that insurance in case it burns down.  We didn't invade Iraq because we knew Saddam had the weapons.  We ousted him, among other reasons, because he might have them; and if he had them they would eventually be used against us.  Reason enough.  Now it's time to put that same logic to work against Iran.

Time to take the stealth bombers out for a spin and make a little glass in the desert.
