Imagine a platoon of American Marines stranded on an uncharted Pacific island since the close of World War II. And imagine that, once repatriated, they are presented with a number of political intrigues and asked to separate fact from fiction.
They are told that, in 1945, as FDR joined Stalin and Churchill to redraw the map of postwar Europe, a process which eventually condemned all of Eastern Europe to the tyranny of Soviet domination, one of Roosevelt’s senior advisors was a longtime Soviet spy named Alger Hiss. Fact or fiction?
They are told that, later in 1945, as Truman, Stalin, and Churchill met to hammer out the final details of the postwar administration of Germany, one of Truman’s senior advisors was a Soviet spy named Harry Dexter White, who provided the Soviets with the printing plates they used to counterfeit hundreds of millions of dollars worth of military occupation scrip. Fact or fiction?
They are told of an American prisoner of war during the Korean War who is mentally programmed (brainwashed) by his Communist Chinese captors to assassinate a prominent American politician following his repatriation. Fact or fiction?
They are told that, during the Cold War, the Soviets smuggled entire families of “sleeper” agents into the United States – all trained to look, act, and sound exactly like average Americans – and with instructions to await the day when they would be called upon to carry out acts of sabotage or political assassination. Fact or fiction?
They are told that, on September 11, 2001, nineteen fanatical terrorists of the Wahabbi Islamic sect, programmed to welcome death in the service of Allah, killed some 3,000 innocent people by flying hijacked airliners into the New York World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in western Pennsylvania. Fact or fiction?
They are told that, in January 2007, a fundamentalist Islamic terror cell, led by a man named Abu Fayed, detonated a one megaton suitcases nuclear weapon in Valencia, California, a Los Angeles suburb. Fact or fiction?
The point is, we live in a very dangerous world, more dangerous than at any time in history, and it is sometimes difficult to separate fact from fiction. Whether in politics, government, business, or in private life, we can never be too careful about those who are in a position of power over us…especially if they have any connection at all to Islam.
Which brings us to Barack Hussein Obama, the latest fad of Democrat king-makers and political groupies, a childlike political newcomer with a Muslim-sounding name who thinks that the best thing about being a U.S. Senator is that “you get to fly a lot,” a shameless self-promoter with no real accomplishments to his credit who can say with a straight face that he’d like to be President of the United States.
The history of the Democrat Party, from its very beginnings, is replete with examples of people who are not what they appear to be, and who support issues and causes other than those they espouse out on the hustings. So where does Barrack Obama fit in the overall scheme of things?
We know that Obama was born in Honolulu and that his father was a Muslim from Kenya. We know that his parents divorced and that his mother then married an Indonesian Muslim named Lolo Soetoro. We know that Soetoro moved the family to Jakarta where, according to Obama, he attended both Muslim and Roman Catholic schools during his formative years. In other words, we know just enough about Obama to convince us that we need to know a lot more.
Who is this young man who has charged onto the national stage with minimal political experience, with an abundance of chutzpah, and with a background of Muslim parentage and training? Are we to believe that a man who professes a desire to bring us back from the abyss
of political hatred and partisan acrimony would openly ally himself with billionaire George Soros…a man who hates America every bit as much as Osama bin Laden and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and who would use every penny of his fortune to destroy us and our way of life?
So what would our platoon of Marines think of Barack Obama? Who is he…really? Is he as innocent and naïve as he appears to be? And if he is, how could anyone even begin to imagine him as President of the United States? What we do know is that, after eight years of Republicans in the White House, Democrats won’t even ask who he is. They’d support Louis Farrakhan or O.J. Simpson for president if they thought either of them could win. But that’s just Democrats; the rest of us care a lot about who Obama is and we’d like to know a lot more before it’s too late.
