Our Mission

Big government is not simply the size of the budget, or the number of federal programs; it is the role the federal government plays in our daily lives.

We at the Lincoln Heritage Institute will not sit idly by and allow bloated bureaucracies, budensome tax policies, a failing public education system, and out of control regulatory system, and a growing disregard for the rule of law to become an accepted way of life

We have as our purpose, through public education, the revitalization and preservation of our traditional political, social, commercial, and legal environment in which the only limits to achievement are individual ability and effort.

Hollywood Liberals Try Again

by CGD

There was "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", and "The Intestine from Outer Space" Now we have "The Day After Tomorrow", all bad non-scientific science fiction.

I can't decide if the Hollywood liberal is ignorant, stupid, or just simple minded.
In an attempt to frighten the public into supporting the Kyoto Treaty by producing
a movie that supports the UN and Socialists' defunct theory that humans can cause global warming, they found a book written a bout the abduction of humans by aliens from outer space and turned it into a movie. I thought "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" was bad, this movie stinks; the special affects were pretty good.

Adopting a Treaty that would collapse the U.S. economy by having the U.S. pay socialist dictators to allow us to continue to grow is to assume the American public are suicidal.

Adopting the provisions of the treaty will have no measurable impact on global climate changes, but it would destroy our standard of living to the benefit of socialist dictators.

Why is it being promoted by U.S. citizens and the Democratic Party??
